Don't know whether you have anything patentable among your products or developments? If the answer is "No" then you may wish to get an "Intellectual Property Health Check (IPHC)" before you commit yourself to more expense.
A rough guide is to ask yourself the following questions:
- Have you developed a new product recently?
- Do you work with NDA's on a regular basis?
- If so, does it, in your opinion, contain a novel aspect that sets it out from the rest?
- Have you claimed copyright on your catalogues or brochures?
- Do you have your Company Logo registered?
